Lime Crime is Branching Out

Tengram Capital Partners, a private equity firm specializing in retail and consumer companies that are branded, has just acquired Lime Crime. Lime Crime is a cosmetic company that manufactures products that are all-vegan and cruelty-free. The company was founded in 2008 by Mark Dumbelton and Doe Deere. Their products are unique because they are vibrant and unlike anything that you normally find in the makeup aisle.

Lime Crime gives you the freedom to express yourself without being limited to the same color palette that has been the norm for so long. Lime Crime’s been setting trends since they started. They’re known for their Unicorn Lipsticks, Velevetines, and their Diamond Crushers lip toppers. Unicorn Hair comes in a rainbow of colors, and the brand has grown to be a household name. Lime Crime has customers all over the world and is in high demand.

High-end stores such as Bloomingdales carry the signature Lime Crime cosmetics line. Riley Rose and Ulta.com also carries the makeup line, and it’s considered to be a leader in color cosmetics. The company recently launched in the UK and can be bought at FeelUnique, Selfridges, and Cult Beauty.

Tengram’s helping to grow the Lime Crime brand and will make it possible for Lime Crime to expand even further. Lime Crime is considered to be a digital-first company and will still focus on sales through their website but will branch out into physical stores. The company is also introducing new products and categories in order to appease their fan base.

Doe Deere’s very excited for the new changes that will be coming and for the opportunities that Lime Crime will have to grow. She’s proud of how the company has grown and hopes it will continue to be the go-to makeup brand for unicorns all over the world.
